  • This movie is an adaptation of the popular Chinese tale about a scholar who falls in love with a woman, not knowing she is a 1000-year-old serpent who has taken on human form. White Snake (Eva Huang), in the reincarnation of a beautiful lady, falls in love with a young herbalist Xu Xian (Raymond Lam).
