  • I must be truly dumb 2012-01-20

Since my daughter highly recommended this movie, my friend and I decided to make this a movie that had to be seen. Unfortunately, it was a terrible choice. Not only was the movie totally unintelligible, the high paced action was quite meaningless and worst of all was the the dirty, unwashed and filthy appearance of our intrepid detectives. Surely the characters could at least have had a bath ! The story line was completely ridiculous and the movie can be gladly given a miss. So did I miss something somewhere when it came highly rated???

  • Good movie , mind boggling plots 2012-01-19

Robert and Jude amazing couple (no pun intended) , its a good movie , very well spun plot . But it has been quite sometime that the viewer has had to do so much thinking. If your sleepy , you may miss some key plot points . There are times you ll feel that the movie is over but suddenly it starts again. Maybe we need more movies like this to make us more sharper ;-)

  • Superb 2012-01-16

Caught the movie on last Saturday....simply superb movie. Robert Downney Jr is amazing. best part is that the movie follows its prequel's style, which was very good. must watch for all who enjoy action, as well as suspence and comedy.

  • Simply Amazing! 2012-01-12

Like the prequel, this movie hasn't fallen short of its glory. More twists and suspense to the story this movie leaves you at the edge of your seat. With polished witty English with your above average humour and action, not to forget sherlock holmes fighting sequence!, this movie is definitely a must watch. Yet again Robert Downney Jr. gives his audience an exemplary performance

  • compact full fledge movie-tainment 2012-01-10

Its been some time that I have seen some nice movie with equal importance to action, suspense, intelligent comedy and investigativeness.
Sheer thrill of movie watching experience.
Infact I was annoyed when the theatre anounced interval... a forced interval.
The story was very well interlaced and told in such a manner that till the last moment there was a sense of involvement.
    Thoroughly enjoyable!

  • James Bond in the 19th Century ... 2012-01-08

To be honest, I am a bit bored of heroes who are completely invincible. And to turn Sherlock Holmes into an action James Bond like character is a waste.
So while I enjoyed the action sequences, and the gloriously filmed larger than life 19th century Europe, the complete lack of any significant mystery element was a disappointment.
Finally unlike great sequels, it does not really take the story/ characters forward.
To be honest, the lack of any great movies in the cinemas means that for a movie hall fan, it is paisa vasool, but otherwise strictly average fare.

  • Brilliant executed 2012-01-06

Saw this movie late last night at Fame Cinemas, Andheri West. There were barely 20 other people in the theatre, so was able to catch the best seat in the house ;-)

The movie is riveting from the beginning. I loved the pace, the direction and the art in the movie. The story was well executed. And the dialogues ... just brilliant.

One of my favorite lines from the movie in a fight sequence -
"Batter. Dust lightly. Crack eggs. Flip the omelet. Add a light seasoning. Breakfast is served."

Go catch the show in the theatres. Very highly recommended.

  • Breathtakingly brilliant 2012-01-04

It's not the end that matters...it's the whole chase and that's what makes the movie so brilliant. Guy Ritchie portrays the classic Britain beautifully. There's a lot of bromance between Holmes and Dr. Watson. A worthy sequel to the perfect first part.

  • Awesome Confusing and Mind boggling Movie 2012-01-04

    Must watch for sure.
Its similar to Inception, At first you get confuse but later you start njoing it.

Movie moves pretty fast and hence becomes difficult to understand where its going, but in the later part it reduces the pace and there u start njoing it.

    Awesome acting from 'Robert'.
