I have been wanting to watch TINTIN since the day it released in India. but always got sent back as all the shows were booked all the time. Got a chance to see the movie the previous weekend. but i must say that i was highly disappointed. The 3D experience was fine (the quality of PVR 3D in forum was not good). the movie was not entertaining at all. for all the tintin book fans, the plot was very predictable. and more than tintin, it was a Captain Haddock movie. the movie revolved around him and even the ending was all about him.
the whole idea of mixing scences from all the books of Tintin

Steven Spielberg, winner of Best Director Oscar comes together with Steven Moffat (of the "Doctor Who" fame, whom Spielberg is rumored to have had a hard time in making a part of the movie) in this 3D film. What a visual treat it was. The burrpers who've recommended the 3D version are spot on. The experience was truly immersive. Loved the treatment, the direction and the special effects.

Go watch it with or without the kids. You won't regret it.

Enjoyed every bit of the movie... The effects were awesome!

As a Tin Tin fan, really enjoyed seeing almost real life Captain Haddock, Tin Tin, Thomson & Thompsons, Snowy and Bianca!

Just missed Professor Calculus. Hope to see him too soon in an even more interesting sequel. And yes, the 3D is worth it. Don't miss it.
